Bunnies

Our yard has been infested with these!  And though they are total pests, they are so cute that we just can't help but love it at the same time!
They nibble the grass down to nothing.
They poop everywhere.
And they multiply like...well...rabbits.
We discovered a litter had been abandoned one morning while out pulling weeds.
Four brand new babies just laying there on the dirt, no shelter at all, baking in the July sun.
My motherly instincts set in and I panicked, envisioning myself having to feed baby bunnies puppy formula from eyedroppers all night long.
I went to google.
They told me this was quite normal.
A mother bunny will drop her litter anywhere, and return only once a day to construct a nest and nurse them in the night.
So we left them alone.
The next day we checked on them and to our astonishment, a nest had been dug and they were sleeping soundly. We watched them day by day until their little eyes opened and then they were gone!
All within about 10 days.
And now, to our dismay, those little darlings are probably out multiplying and replenishing their breed.
This is why God made them so cute.
So we wouldn't destroy them.

I didn't think The Giver was sad. It was really good. It basically just shows the importance of having good and bad in our lives. i really loved it. plus you can't knock it til you've tried it, BUFFY.
